Portrait of Vlad Listopadov

Vlad Listopadov

Operator — I build the product and the distribution that gets it used.

Two companies co-founded from zero. I've written the product specs, hired the engineers, done the outreach myself, and built the internal tooling my own teams ran on. These days most of that runs through LLMs — this site is vibe-coded, and so is the market map below.

Almaty-based. On-site, full-time, starting now.

Fluent English. Every client I've closed in the last five years has been international — sourced, negotiated and signed in English, end to end.

Key Achievements

  • Hired the first engineering team from zero and wrote the product specifications personally — the MVP shipped with no product function in the company to hand it to. That software still runs client-facing delivery today.
  • Owned distribution directly before there was a team to delegate it to: built the target lists, wrote the outreach, ran the follow-up, and closed the first clients personally — with no brand, no inbound and no budget.
  • Ran the operational side end to end — pricing, payments, counterparty operations and reconciliation — so that every process later handed to the team was one I had run myself first.
  • Turned it into a repeatable operation and stepped out of the loop — documented the playbook, trained a team of 10+, and 200+ accounts across four continents now run at 70% retention without my involvement.

Promoted twice in 34 months. Started executing trades on the desk, ended running a 30-person floor. ~300 clients, ~$1M.

  • Tested audience and partnership hypotheses as experiments rather than plans — ran new segments and partner types in the field, kept the ones that produced deals and dropped the rest. The segments that survived became the team's standing territory.
  • Sold personally before there was a team to sell, then hired and trained the reps who took it over — while continuing to carry a book of my own throughout, so nothing was handed to the team that I had not closed myself first.

Co-founded, built the sales engine from zero — ~$100K in year one at a ~$5K average deal size.

  • Was the entire sales function — co-founder and sole seller at once. Ran LinkedIn outreach cold and converted it into in-person meetings, then closed those meetings myself. Roughly 20 B2B deals in year one, every one of them sourced and signed by the same person.
  • Designed the company's remote sales department in 2019, before distributed selling was standard practice — built the structure so the motion could run without the founders in the room, and without an office to run it from.
